Senior Technical Program Manager - AI & Imaging (f/m/d)

  • Starting date: As soon as possible

  • Yearly Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 (fixed range, annual gross)

  • Equity: €20,000 - €40,000 in company shares

  • Benefits: Up to €5,000 annually

  • Work model: Full-time, Remote (Germany)

Your role

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of innovation, orchestrating the development of our cutting-edge AI-powered imaging products that are set to revolutionize the field. This pivotal role will see you collaborating closely with brilliant development leads across specialized domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Imaging Science, and Software Engineering, as well as insightful Product Managers.

Your mission: bring structure and clarity to complex AI/imaging development, transforming vision into impactful solutions. You'll align teams with business priorities, manage cross-functional dependencies, use data for decisions, and communicate clearly to push technological boundaries.

Your day to day

On a typical day you will:

  • Drive task planning to align work to product & application needs

  • Develop technical roadmaps and strategies collaboratively to align with the product roadmap

  • Publish structured plans for driving and tracking technical efforts

  • Analyze data to suggest technical priorities

  • Drive communication via meetings and in writing to ensure alignment across team members

  • Drive team decisions to maximize business objectives

  • You know how to clearly define technical user stories in modern issue tracking tools like Jira

  • You know how to prioritize tasks accounting for impact and effort

  • You are adept at creating roadmaps that bring clarity to where the team is going immediately and in the long-term 

  • You know how to define and track KPIs that align with the most important outcomes for the organization

  • You have the know-how for risk mitigation

  • Your communication is clear and concise to bring all stakeholders into alignment

Technical depth

  • You understand modern & agile software development processes

  • You understand how AI models can improve or become biased

  • You understand strategies for collecting data and ensuring data quality

  • You understand how to estimate the impact of technical deliverables

What makes you stand out from other candidates

AI expertise

  • You have managed AI products that use computer vision on 2D/3D images

  • You have managed products that use image processing, analysis, and an object classification software

  • You have first-hand experience having trained AI models

Imaging expertise

  • You have worked with MRI systems

  • You have derived metrics to assess image quality   

  • You have defined or developed automation for data analysis
