Join us on our mission to unleash AI-powered imaging for everything and everyone
Senior Knowledge Manager (f/m/d)
Starting date: As soon as possible
Yearly Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 (fixed range, annual gross)
Equity: Up to €40,000 in company shares
Benefits: Up to €5,000 annually
Work model: Full-time, Hybrid (Munich, Germany)
Your Role
Our knowledge is our edge. Your job is to make sure it's actually usable.
You'll own our knowledge and information management strategy end to end. That means building the system, setting governance, deploying an AI powered search platform, and getting people to actually use it. This isn't a policy role. You'll dig into what teams actually need, build it, ship it, teach it and keep improving.
Your Day to Day
We don't want someone who audits boxes or waits for direction. We want someone who sees an opportunity, owns it, fixes it, and brings people along. You're adaptable, curious and allergic to bureaucracy for its own sake.
What You’ll Do:
Build and own Orbem's company wide knowledge management strategy
Design a governance framework with clear ownership, review cycles, and content lifecycles
Own our Enterprise Risk Management system, including the central risk register and supporting workflows
Serve as business owner for Confluence and our AI enterprise search tool, managing roadmap, support, and vendor relationships
Continuously tune the AI search platform for relevance and speed
Define and track KPIs on content health, engagement, and efficiency
Partner with IT to manage and expand integrations across tools
Analyze search data to find and close knowledge gaps
Automate content lifecycle processes: reminders, escalations, archiving
Champion knowledge sharing culture across teams
Create training and onboarding guides for our knowledge platform. Build the materials, teach the team, and make sure people actually use the system.
Work with department leads to embed best practices into daily workflows
Job requirements
Your experiences and skills
Fit to our values
We own every challenge: we enjoy complexity and thrive under uncertainty
We strive for better: we seize any opportunity for growth and challenge the status quo. We are constantly learning and improving
We imagine new frontiers: we think beyond ‘doable’ and ‘reasonable’. We design a sustainable and healthy future together
Skills and Experience
2+ years in knowledge management, information architecture, or content strategy in a fast moving tech environment
Expert Confluence (or similar tool) skills: architecture design, templates, permissions
Hands on experience selecting, implementing, or optimizing AI search tools (Glean, SearchUnify, Coveo, or similar)
Track record managing knowledge across decentralized systems (Hubspot, Jira, Google Drive, GitHub, etc.)
Ability to define, track, and report on KPIs using search analytics and content audits
Strong change management instincts. You know tech adoption is a people problem
Excellent communicator who can influence without authority
Strong project management skills. You can build training programs, run workshops, and get cross-functional teams to actually adopt new tools and processes.
What makes you stand out from other candidates
You've built a QMS or risk framework from scratch
You've implemented GenAI solutions for documentation, process mapping, or content creation
You know formal process mapping (BPMN or similar) and can diagram complex workflows
