Project Manager - Installations

Starting date: January 2025

Compensation package: $82,500 - $89,375 in yearly salary, and $10,825.85 - $32,477.55 in equity.

Work model: Full-time, hybrid in Houston, Texas

Your role

As a Project Manager with a focus on Installations, you'll be the driving force behind the implementation and operation of our cutting-edge MRI scanning solutions, ensuring our technology is fully optimized for each customer's unique needs.

You'll act as the vital link between customer requirements and practical, on-the-ground implementations, working closely with our product and hardware teams to deliver projects on time and tailored to specific local conditions.

By fostering close collaboration and a steady exchange of ideas with both customers and internal teams, you'll help develop innovative solutions that keep us at the forefront of the industry.

Your day-to-day

As the primary lead for site readiness and installations, you’ll manage site investigations, work with customers and suppliers, and ensure timelines with the other teams.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain installation roadmaps, adapting to any relevant changes.

  • Travel to various customer sites across the U.S. to manage on-site installation projects.

  • Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and ethical standards.

  • Assess local conditions and lead the implementation of MRI and automation systems.

  • Manage and lead diverse teams, ensuring clear communication, task delegation, and performance expectations.

  • Communicate installation timelines, technical requirements, and progress updates to customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

  • Conduct site assessments and regularly meet with clients and contractors to ensure project alignment and success.

Competencies, Experience, and Skills:

  • 2+ years of project management experience in installing hardware equipment or machinery.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to various U.S sites, and you possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.

  • Skilled in documenting roadmaps and installation schedules using effective visualization techniques.

  • Strong understanding of machinery installation processes, including site preparation, equipment setup, and troubleshooting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effective manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

  • Proactive problem-solver with a practical, hands-on approach, unafraid to take action and ownership to drive results.

What makes you stand out from other candidates

  • Experience in industrial automation, electrical engineering, or medical imaging machines.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems or electrical engineering practices.

  • Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and the use of relevant tools.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of electricity, structural mechanics (statics), construction, and water cooling systems.

  • Strong understanding of the physical principles underlying MRI technology.

  • Basic knowledge of the key hardware components involved in MRI scanning.

  • Experience in site planning and construction within industrial settings.

  • Proven track record in installing or building industrial automation systems, including robotics.
