Senior Account Executive

Starting date: March 2024

Compensation package: $96,250 - $103,125, and $22,000 - $44,000 in equity.

Work model: Full-time, hybrid in Houston, Texas

Your Role

As a Senior Account Executive, you will build and maintain strong client relationships, working at the interface between our poultry industry customers and our multidisciplinary engineering teams.

You’ll identify new business opportunities, drive sales growth, and deliver tailored solutions while ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is passionate about deep-tech products and enjoys the challenge of explaining them to non-technical users.

Your day-to-day

As a Senior Account Executive, you are responsible for acquiring a thorough understanding of our target customers' needs and requirements, expanding the relationship with existing customers, and acquiring new customers. Typical activities include:

● Meet our customers, in virtual meetings or on-site, to understand their needs and inform customer success.

● Initiate or engage with outreach from our prospects in poultry to drive future sales.

● Nourish Orbem’s ecosystem in the poultry industry, e.g. by attending poultry events and conferences.

Experience and skills

● You focus on the user’s needs and strive for a better understanding of their requirements.

● Resolve any issues and problems faced by users and deal with complaints to maintain trust.

● 4 years experience in sales and providing solutions based on user needs.

● You think about your audience before deciding on what and how to communicate.

● You write easily understandable company documentation (e.g. company policies) and deliver dynamic presentations.

● You draw on a repertoire of visualization methods and ease the understanding of complex concepts.

● You work independently and manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.

● You have experience working with customers in the agricultural or, even better, in the poultry industry.

● You have experience working with customers of high throughput, 24/7 factories.

● You have experience working with customers in high throughput, low-margin industries.
