Operational Systems Manager (f/m/d)
Starting date: As soon as possible
Yearly Salary: €60,000 - €65,000 (fixed range, annual gross)
Stock Options: €10,000 - €30,000
Benefits: Up to €5,000 annually
Work model: Full-time, Hybrid (Munich, Germany)
Your Role
We need a builder. Someone who creates systems, not just manages them.
You'll be the digital architect of our operations. Your job is to build the single source of truth for our installation projects and installed systems in the field by implementing Airtable as a central hub and connecting it to ERP, PLM, Jira, and other critical tools. You'll work closely with our Operational Excellence team to translate processes into digital reality, building systems people actually want to use.
This is hands-on work for someone who wants to build infrastructure that powers growth now, while keeping future scalability in mind (think Salesforce, FSL, or similar).
Your Day-to-Day
Own our central operational database in Airtable: schema, field types, data integrity, and interfaces.
Connect tools (ERP, PLM, Jira) to the central hub with precise, reliable data mapping.
Build automations that streamline workflows. Confidently use JavaScript when native tools aren't enough.
Own the full lifecycle of systems you build: monitor, troubleshoot, fix bugs, and maintain reliability.
Partner with our Business Intelligence team to ensure clean, structured data for reporting.
Act as a key stakeholder in our GenAI roadmap, ensuring data structures are ready for agents and automation.
Help non-technical users adopt what you build through documentation, training, and support.
Job requirements
Your Experiences and Skills
Fit to Our Values
We own every challenge: we enjoy complexity and thrive under uncertainty
We strive for better: we seize any opportunity for growth and challenge the status quo. We are constantly learning and improving
We imagine new frontiers: we think beyond ‘doable’ and ‘reasonable’. We design a sustainable and healthy future together
Experience and Skills
Builder DNA. You create and implement solutions yourself. If you've only managed established systems without building them, this isn't the role.
Proven experience translating business processes into system logic (Salesforce Admin, Implementation Consultant, or similar)
Understand team problems before building, design with UX in mind, and deliver working solutions
Deep understanding of relational database design and data structuring for scalability
Expert proficiency in Airtable, low-code tools, or CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot)
Comfortable with iPaaS tools (Make, n8n, Zapier), APIs and Webhooks.
Can use JavaScript for scripting and automation
Strong communicator who can define the "how" when others define the "what"
What makes you stand out from other candidates
Experience building complex, interconnected tool landscapes (ERP, CRM, PLM, Project Management, Field Service)
Genuine interest in GenAI and its application to operational workflows
