Internship: Applications and Operations Specialist

• Start date: As soon as possible

• Hourly Salary: $23.00 per hour 

• Work model: Full-time, onsite in Missouri

Your Role

You will serve as the essential on-site support for the US field operations team, working directly at our client site. Your role is hands-on and focused on the day-to-day operation of specialized machinery and the collection of mission-critical data, directly supporting our launch.

This is a 12-week internship where you’ll gain hands-on field experience, collaborate closely with an international team, and develop valuable skills in a truly unique and rewarding environment.

Your day-to-day

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide necessary operational support by showing up every day at the hatchery.

• Operate and oversee the machines and specialized equipment on-site.

• Collect accurate and high-quality data from the eggs and equipment operations.

• Send the collected data over to our team in Europe for analysis and processing.

• Interface and collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Field Operations, Data Collection & Applications Specialists, and the US Launch team.

Experience and skills:

• University student or recent graduate excited to gain practical experience.

• Strong interest in hands-on, operational work and being involved in daily activities.

• Coachable and eager to learn on the job.

• Willingness to work on-site daily at our hatchery in Missouri.

• Open to traveling for experiential onboarding, including field training at the hatchery to learn how to work with our equipment and eggs.

• No prior experience with Orbem technology required, we’ll provide all necessary training.
