Head of Technical Program Management (f/m/d)
Starting date: As soon as possible
Compensation package: €100,000 - €110,000 in yearly salary and €80,000 - €120,000 in equity. Additionally up to €5,000/year in company benefits.
Work Model: Full-time, Hybrid in Munich
Your Role
As Head of Technical Program Manager, you will be at the core of our value delivery processes from guiding the technical program management team to leading the organizational development of our company to meet Orbem’s business needs.

Your day-to-day
Your responsibilities include:
Oversee Organizational Development: Guide decisions about team structures, value creation flows, and associated roles at the company level.
Lead by Example: Mentor and coach the Technical Program Management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
Best Practices: Establish and refine comprehensive technical program management practices that align with our business goals with an emphasis on excellence and value delivery.
Nurture Know-how: Identify and grow areas of knowledge for technical program managers that are core to our business needs.
Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on expertise in technical program management, mentoring, and coaching team members in their day to day.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, quality managers, scientists, application specialists, and engineers to keep the teams focused and drive progress forward.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze team metrics to identify areas for improvement and track progress toward team development.
Recruitment and Team Building: Build a high-performing technical program management team with diverse skills and expertise.

Technical program management
Proven Experience: As a technical program manager, you successfully lead several complex projects combining a host of stakeholders, keeping the team focused, and motivated.
Technical Expertise: You have previous experience in value delivery through project or program management and organization design, helping organizations to transform and adapt to new business needs.
Tools and Processes: Deep project management tools (e.g. Atlassian suite) and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
Problem Solver: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective strategies to maintain progress.
Agility as Mindset: You understand the benefits of agility, when, and how to use it to deliver value quickly while keeping the team focused and motivated.
